Pre-Planning: The Save the Cat Beat Structure of our opening sequence

 

Here’s the run save the beat for our script.  The Save the Beat Sheet is a common story structure template that splits a story into 15 "beats" or plot moments/ scenes at the beginning, middle, and end. We put our movie scenes into four key points so we know what part is the hook or the set-up of our opening sequence to make it more thrilling and exciting for the audience.
